Son of a preacher, Dickson Guillaume hails from a loving multitalented musical family of eleven. Highly regarded as an accomplished song writer, drummer and self-taught pianist. Being called to ministry in a youthful age, Dickson always believed that a life in ministry is not a colorless life, but an exciting and innovative life. Called to youth ministry since 1985, Dickson Guillaume is not one that believes in ministry as usual, but unusual ministry.

Known for his “no holds barred” gospel styling, Dickson crossed the religious barrier by building programs and functions to minister to the youth of today’s generation. Functions like “Gospel Jam,” a Christian nightclub, to push young people to enjoy a mega-life infused with mega-joy and mega-faith and BootCamp... a youth conference that builds and empowers the youth during their springbreak every year the week after Resurrection Sunday.

Dickson Guillaume serves as a minister at Perfecting Faith Church in Freeport, NY, under the leadership of Pastor Donnie McClurkin.

His work in the community has not gone unnoticed. In 1995, he received special recognition by the American Youth Congress in Boston, MA. In 1999 he was awarded the Gold Cup by the Brooklyn Gospel Music Committee for, outstanding leadership. In 2007 he won the Haitian Gospel Music Award for Best Artist. In light of the January 12th Earthquake in Haiti, Dickson Co-wrote and performed on a song with Busta Rymes titled “"We Will Stand”". Dickson is committed to helping Haiti become the pearl that she once use to be. He also directs workshops in churches as well as colleges nationwide.

Dickson Guillaume is a proud member of Alpha Nu Omega Fraternity, Inc. - a fraternity that is purposed to present a Christian alternative on college/university campuses and surrounding communities, to minister to the needs of the whole person (spirit, soul, and body), and to promote an attitude of academic excellence.

Mr. Guillaume is about to complete his first book in 2012 entitled "“So You Say You Want To Be In Ministry"”, a book that is sure to minister to anyone that says that God called them and have no idea all that is involved.

Dickson is moving to do bigger and greater things for the Lord. He understands that performance before man can never compare to worship before God.
